Monitoring
and Evaluation Officer – Batticaloa (1 Position)
Eastern Social Development Foundation is a rights and
women based national non –governmental organization, which is established in
2009 and registered as grantee Ltd under company Act No 2007 of Sri Lanka. Our
vision is “creating a society towards rights, equality and sustainable
development” and mission is “leading to a prosperous path for rights, equality
and sustainable development by fulfilling needs in the fields of human rights,
gender equality, good governance, poverty alleviation and peace building in the
post war communities of Sri Lanka. Currently, ESDF Sri Lanka is looking for a
qualified person to recruit for the position of M&E Officer to work with
the monitoring and evolution team of the organisation.
Roles and Responsibilities of
M&E Officer
·
Develop and strengthen monitoring
and evaluation procedures of the organization.
·
Develop of a comprehensive
Monitoring and Evaluation plan with the KPI’s
·
Monitor all project activities and
progress towards achieving the project outputs
·
Monitor and evaluate overall
progress on achievement of results
·
Provide feedback to the Project
Director / Donors on project strategies and activities
·
Reporting monthly, quarterly and
annually progress on all project activities to the Project Director
·
Provide inputs, information and
statistics for quarterly, annually and other reports to Project Management
Team.
·
Participate in the annual project
reviews and planning workshops and assist the Project Director in preparing
relevant reports
·
Support monitoring and evaluation
of the effects and impact of the projects
·
Assist in coordinating across the
available components of the project to ensure effective implementation of
M&E
·
Assist the project personnel with
M&E tools and in supporting them in their use.
·
Preparation of relevant reports
·
Prepare and maintain database
Education/Qualification
a) Higher National Diploma (HND) in related filed or
b) A university degree in human rights/ democratic
governance / social studies / development studies.
Experience and Skills
·
Proven track record in the field
of M&E and Documentation.
·
Excellent knowledge and skills on
the subject of M&E works.
·
Excellent writing and
interpersonal communication skills, including fluency in spoken and writing
English, Tamil and Sinhala.
·
At least 3 – 5 years work
experience on M&E subject with NGOs’ sector
·
Computer proficiency in MS Office,
Internet and Email.
·
A good knowledge and skills on
reporting, recording, documentation and strategy development.
