Positions)
Roles and Responsibilities
of the Project Officer
·
Coordinating
project activities with networks and institutions according to the approved
work plan.
·
Coordinate
and communicate with relevant service providers and target groups for
activities implementation.
·
Organizing
and facilitating trainings with the selected target groups at the community
level.
·
Organize
and coordinate capacity building trainings for government officials.
·
Conduct district level network meetings and regular events.
·
Supporting
to policy development activities and take part in the advocacy lobbying
process.
·
Facilitating exchange and learning visits of within the country and out
of the countries.
·
Reporting
project activities to the organization.
·
Participate
in staff meetings, discussion and trainings time-to-time or regular intervals.
·
Participating and coordinating the project with the government sectors.
·
Supporting
and facilitating to conduct internal and external monitoring and evaluation of
the activities.
·
Any other task assigned by the Management
Education Qualifications
a) university degree in women’s studies /gender /
human rights/ democratic governance / social studies and development studies.
Experience and Skills
·
Proven
track record in working in the field of gender, human rights and democratic
governance.
·
Experience in developing, implementing and monitoring advocacy
campaigns.
·
At least
5 years working experience on the above field with NGOs’ sector.
·
A good knowledge and skills on activity planning, implementing,
reporting and documentation.
·
Excellent
coordination skills with the government sectors and local communities.
·
Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills, including
fluency spoken and writing in English, Tamil and Sinhala.
·
Computer proficiency in MS Office, Internet and Email.
·
Driving license {Motorbike)

Roles and Responsibilities of the Field
Officer
·
Coordinating

any other digree in related field
·

governance.
·

campaigns.
·
At least

·

·
Qualification
– AAT Qualified / final year student or past qualification of any other
accounting package
·
Knowledge
in computer based accounting package and specially in quick book will be an
added advantage.
·
Fluency
in English language will be an added advantage.
·
